Ok so this week was awesome!!! Ill start off my telling you
about new years eve. I have NEVER ate as much food as I did on new years
eve! it was bad, I could hardly breath!! but it was all so good! I love
the food down here sooo much!!! I have drank more coke here than I have
in my entire life!! everyday for lunch when we go to a members house to
eat, its like eating out at a mexican restruant!
on thrusday,
my compainion had a meeting in reynosa with all of the district leaders
so I went on exchanges with elder johnson, who is my same age, from AF
and was on origination the same time I was on HT! he has two more
transfers then me! We both heard about eachother before the mission
becasue seth and cole were on origination and told him about me and told
me about him!! but the guy is awesome! he was the student body pres at
AF! and we had a blast together!!
then we went and picked
my companion up from the bus station and he had three huge packages that
he brought back with him for me!!! So we carried them home and opened
them!! thank you so much mom for all you did!! I have enjoyed everything
that you sent! thank you so much!! We watched ephraims rescue that
night also! in our branch counsle meeting, we talked about ideas that we
could do to get more people to come to church. and we decided that we
are going to have a party this thursday and were watching ephriams
rescue!!! Im excited to tell you next week how it goes! also I think I
told you about one of our investigators jose. I love this guy! we love
talking about new york and new jersey with each other! because thats
where he lived a couple years ago! mom please send me pictures of me in
new york! the resteration lesson with him went really good! he accepted
everything that we taught him! I love the first lesson!!! I shared the
first vision with him!! I shared it one other time this week with a
different investigator and both times it seemed like the whole world
just went silent!!! they were very neat experiences!

i learned this week came from the scripture 1john 5:3 and I dont know
it Word for Word but basically it says if we love god then we would keep
his commandments! and a commandment he has given us is to attend church
and all three hours. and that is just an example. and I know i
definatley was not a good example at that but when we keep gods
commandments we show how much we love him and something that can make
that easier is when we remember how much he has given us in our lives.
