This week was bitter sweet! bitter because transfers came and
my Companion Elder Rodriguez got transferred.. I'm sad:( but on the
bright side, my new companion doesn't speak any English so I'm gonna be able
to learn a lot faster!! His name is Elder Arjona and is from Merida Mexico. He is a great guy and is very humble! Also Elder Johnson got
transferred to Reynosa so like my two best friends are gone now..:( this
week was also sweet because we had two investigators and 1 less active
come to church!!! it was the best feeling to have them in the church and
to have some of our hard work start to pay off!! we´ll see about next
week if they come again!! Also this week, we had interviews with the
president. It went alot better then what i thought it would! i was kinda
scared because he doesn't speak any English but i found out i know
quite a bit of Spanish! Me and Elder Rodriguez were the last ones
interviewed and it was during lunch so after he took just me and Rodrigo
out to lunch!! it was pretty cool getting to know him. Last week we had
lunch at a members house and they asked me what my favorite food was
and I said "beans, rice, chicken and flour tortillas" and so last night
we had a dinner with them and ate all of that! it was really good! I
learned how to make tortillas so I don't think ill ever buy them from the
store again!! I think that the winter ended here haha its not cold
anymore! Its actually like perfect temperature so I'm loving that!
anyways I'm doing great! I'm learning a lot of great things! I'm still
amazed that its already Monday again! its crazy how fast time goes here! Its great to here that everybody got above a 3.0!! ha that's awesome! keep it up
