This week was crazy! As a zone we have the goal of getting 22 bautismos for the month of November! So this week was pure exchanges! We went to other areas to finalize baptisms and to do interviews almost everyday! I'm already out of money for this month because of how many taxis and buses we had to take! This week I didn't even have a single lesson in my own area because I was always gone! it was loco! Right now were only at 7 baptisms so this week is gonna be even more crazy to get 15 more! We've got enough investigators to be able to fulfill the meta but its gonna take a lot of fast a pray to be able to reach 15 this week!
OK so I've had an ingrown toe nail haha for like the passed month and I've already tried doing the bathroom surgery on myself to get it out but i only made it worse.. but its been killing me and I've barley been able to walk so finally this week I call hermana Morales to set me an appointment with the Doctor. This was my second time with this doctor and the last time he just pulled it out really fast and so I was expecting the same thing to happen this time. we get there I pulled off my sock and he says, "wow.. were gonna have to cut your toe off!" haha I was like "WHAT!!?" he was just kidding but it was so bad that he did need to cut in there to pull it out! anyways, something that I've learned about myself is that I cant stand needles or knives! I actually started going into like a mini shock when he was digging in there haha I'm kinda embarrassed to share this haha half way through I started getting really light headed and I thought it was just gonna go away but it just got worse until everything went black and so I finally said, "um I don't feel really good!" the doctor ran over and reclined me back and gave me like a candy and than the blood went back to my head haha he was like "you gotta little nervous didn't ya?" haha "yes"
after he started asking us a bunch of questions about what we do as missionaries and we shared how we help others change their lives so that they live in harmony with the teachings of Jesus Christ! we asked if we would be able to come by to teach him but he didn't accept because he is catholic.. but we did plant some seeds at least!
