Dear Familia,
This week went pretty great! and of
course went by way fast! It blows my mind that I already have 5 meses in
the mission! All the missionaries have been telling me that this next
transfer is my time to go... but I sure hope not! I love Rio Bravo and
don't want to leave! Hopefully I can stay for at least one more transfer!
The baptism that we were supposed to have fell.. she told us that she
wants to learn more but she has been reading in the book of Mormon and
is progressing! so she'll probably get baptized here in the next week or
two! My Spanish is coming along pretty great! it really helps when you
have a companion that doesn't know any English! its just hard
understanding investigators still!
This week we
found I guy named Jose and the lesson with him was just seriously
awesome! The spirit was so strong and after he told us that what we
taught, he knew was true! He has lived in Fort worth Texas for 30 years
and so don't worry Kimmee, I still found him;) but the lesson was just
awesome! the only problem was he didn't show up for church yesterday..
but were gonna go and see what happened tomorrow!
Also
this week I went on exchanges with the Zone leaders, Elder Solomon from
LP and Elder Montiel! It was way cool! I learned alot from them! the
bad part about the day was every single investigator wanted to feed us
and so I couldn't breathe by the end of the day because I was so full!
With
Easter next week I thought I would share some of the things that I've
learned of the savior and share a little bit of my testimony of him! As i
have grown as a missionary, I feel I have come closer to my Savior! I
know that when we put him in our lives we are much happier! I know he
paid the price for all of us so we can come free of hardships and
trials! He Rose on the third day and because he Rose, all of us will
live again as well! and because of him, we can live as families forever!
that is the greatest blessing! Knowing that we can be together forever!
The scripture says "as in Adam all shall die, even so in Christ shall
all be made alive." No matter what, we will all be resurrected but
depending all how we use his atonement and live according to how he has
taught us to live, will determine whether we will be able to live with
our families forever. I hope you all have an awesome Easter Sunday and
enjoy general conference! oh and have fun in Disneyland! and in Hawaii!
Elder BERRY
