Dear Family,
Cant believe that July will soon be coming to an end!! time is flying. You guys all look so great in these pictures mom sends me!! Cant wait to be with you again!
This week has been pretty great!! we've been finding lots of families, which is what we've been praying for!! It always feels good to come home after a long hot day worth of work! As soon as I hit the bed, BOOM, I'm out! And then the alarm is going off and were back at it Every single day! The weeks seem like days, so I only have 10 days left in the misión! (He got his release date of Oct 4, 2016) ha I'm not counting down its just that I'm really excited to see you all again! This is really a great blessing and I already know I'm going to miss it. sometimes I think about all the memories that I have had in passed áreas and with passed companions and I really wish I could go back and relive all of it!
So This week we have two baptisms programmed. The hermana Rocio and her son hervey! She accepted this date this passed week. She has wanted to wait for her husband to get back to do it but this week she accepted the goal for the 30th. we invited her to the church to see one of the baptism services, also to see the Restoration move. We also showed her a talk by President Monson and pictures of a lot of the temples. it is so fun sharing all these things with people who have never Heard about temples or prophets! Its something that i grew up with in my life and so it has always just seemed normal to me to have things that we enjoy in the church. It has been a blessing to experience the opposition of having all of it because I've come to see just how great of a blessing it is! using the temple for example, Every single day of my life I passed the temple going down to grandmas house or driving back home so it was just something so normal, but now I've tasted a Little bit of what its like not to have a temple and it has made me become more grateful and happy for the temple. I cant wait to see and to go to the temple again! we are so lucky to have it so close! The youth were out front cleaning the streets today to make money so they can go to the temple next month! It is such a sacrifice for people here to go to the temple! The sacrifice that I want to make when I am back home is to go weekly or even a few times a week since I have it so close! anyways back to what I was saying about rocio and her son, so yeah they are likely getting baptized this Saturday!
Yesterday we had the baptism of Jose! It went out great! after we went down to the house of Dinora and made some flour tortillas by hand, and some scrabbled eggs! so good! I'm trying to get better at making the tortillas so I can show you all how good they are, made by hand, when I get home!
