Dear Family,

Well this week went by so fast I can't really remember what happened... All I can say is I am SO excited for conference this week end!! I cant believe it has already came back around! and HAPPY EASTER everyone!! The people sure know how to celebrate it with all their beer. it was pretty quite yesterday morning when we went around picking up our investigators for church... they must have celebrated a little too hard the night before. We asked an investigator why he was drinking and he replied saying, "well its semana santa!" haha I guess that makes it OK. 

So this week we thought of a way to better the way we teach and we focused it all in on helping people complete the commitments. when we invite people to act upon what we are teaching, what we really are doing is inviting them to repent. We have really been focusing on helping people get in the habit of reading the book of Mormon and  asking god if it is his word. those are two things that are very simple but so vital for conversion. we don't have time to spend time with someone who isn't willing to work. This is the way that we "cast out the bad branches." we find the people who are willing to work (read pray and go to church) to receive an answer from god. I know that this is true! Like Moroni promises, if we read, ponder the words and pray with a sincere heart and with true intention, we will receive an answer by the power of the Holy Ghost. I now that this is true not only because of the answer i got downstairs in my bedroom, but also because I've seen it happen right in front of my eyes to the people who are willing to make the effort to read and to pray. Remember that the power of the Holy Ghost is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance. 

News:

My converters from Valle Hermoso, Berenice and Dinora went to the temple this passed week!!!! They went the a family Pineda who i found with elder Webb my last day there. This is really something special. Considering That seven months ago they had never heard the gospel. I cant wait to get back there in Valle Hermoso to see them!!
