This week has been super great! we've seen the Lord bless us in so many ways!! I love this work and I'm grateful for my time here! I don't got to much time today but this week end we had another baptism of our amigo Brandon! a couple of weeks ago we baptized his two little siblings and next week we are baptizing the parents!!!! Its amazing what the example of a 10 and 11 year old can do!
Quick Story: About three weeks ago we baptized Leslie and Amauri (Brandons brother and sister) Their step dad didn't want anything to do with us. He was part of a religion call the santa muerte, which is something very nasty bad! We thought that he might be pretty bad person because when we went to pick up the two kids for their baptism, we asked the mom if she was coming and she said "I cant because my husband doesn't want me to!" something like that. Anyways after the baptism, her and her husband showed up all of sudden and we were all like, "oh crap this guy es gonna get mad for baptizing his kids!" but no! he and his wife sat through the rest of the service and actually stayed for the activity which was after! we've been going back to teach them and he has taking down all of his idols from his house, and him and his wife will be getting baptized this Saturday!! Amazing.
This week we will be going to Reynosa for the Christmas party!! I remember sitting there at the last one thinking that this one would never come! but here it is!! haha time fly's were your having fun! I heard a rumor don't know if its true but apparently the Reynosa mexico mission did the best in the month of November out of all north and south america! pretty darn cool if that's true! President Morales is a great leader and he really knows what hes doing and how do accomplish his goals! That's something he has wanted us to do is set goals and accomplish them! Its a great feeling when we do!
This week we all also had the re-dedication of the tijuana temple! Elder Oaks and Presidente Uchdorf both went! you should of heard these guys speak Spanish! it was amazing haha! They are awesome!
