It was a pretty busy week, which is good because it made the time go by really fast, which is bad because I don't have much time left here. This morning I woke up with a little anxiety because, as I was doing my oracion, a whole bunch of memories from different parts of my mission started popping into my mind and I felt a little sad that its all coming to an end. But I really feel like I've come a long way.
We were able to go and visit many of the missionaries houses this week and make sure everything is going good.
It was the Mexican independence this week and the president took us out to eat. I ate a huge sincornizada and felt disgusting after. and then I ate a whole entire Chile in one bite without crying!! I was like "its wasn't even hot" ha wow practically Mexican now! the waiter saw it and heard me say that it wasn't hot so he went to the kitchen and came back with some habanero salsa and squirted it on my hand and said "alright lets see how tough you are" so I looked at it, then looked at him and then licked it off my hand with out hesitating. and... yeah still not completely Mexican ha ha. that stuff had me crying.
Yesterday we brought a family of 5 to church!! They really liked it! I remember President Pieper telling us that we should try to download the app of the church on all our investigators phones, so I grabbed their phone and downloaded it so they could use it to sing hymns and participate in the classes, they thought it was really cool!
The presidents nephew play professional soccer for Reynosa and they had a game here and he gave the president a few tickets and he took us with him! wow.. I learned a lot of new words in Spanish ha ha I think I'm used to the BYU games where only every once in a while a bad word slips out but nombre you should of heard all these crazy Reynosa fans! that poor ref.
HIs nephew is the team captain and he got hurt just before the half. Reynosa tied Tijuana 1-1
