This week was super awesome! I feel like I'm coming closer to the savior with all the experiences that I am having. I'm grateful for opposition. I'm grateful for the trials. This experience that I am having has completely changed the way that I see things in life!! My Eyes have been opened!! and I can see the blessing from our loving father in heaven that I couldn't see before. Before, for example, I couldn't see the blessing of having the gospel in my life because I had never experienced or seen what its like with out it! I never saw the sweet blessing of have a united family until having to be away for so long. The blessing of being born of goodly parents who raised me in the gospel. You cant know that the sweet is sweet until you've tasted the bitter. I don't think i would know that if it wasn't for the mission.
This week we had an activity with the youth of our ward. A few of the elders went and contacted doors with all the young men and a few of us went to pass out cards at the mall with the young woman. my comp and i went with the Woman and it turned out to be awesome! Our convert Dania went with her friend Andi, who also got baptized a little over a month ago, and it was just amazing to see them already sharing the gospel message with others!!. They were a little shy at first but after making the first contact, it got easier and easier! They contacted some Jehovah witnesses and we over heard the conversation, "but when was the gospel taken for the earth?" I don't know I am new, I just got baptized on Sunday." haha that's when we stepped in and said, "brother if you want we can share you this message." he said ignorantly "thank you but I already study the bible" but wow I admire their courage because I was to scared to contact somebody when I went on splits with the missionaries in California just before coming out!
I love you all!!!
elder berry
Here is a hamburger that I ate this week! it is called the monster. We were at the mall looking for something to eat when all of a sudden a man said, elders what to you want to eat? I'm paying! and later took us to a restaurant called, los globos (the baloons) its was awesome!! the burger was unreal!! I didn't finish...
also a picture of me saving a crying kitten... we tied a piece of tape to its paw and fished it over this door here. it started to follow us so we put it in the yard of somebody and ran.
and a few of the young woman from the activity
