Dear Family,
This week was great!! We had lots of success bringing 12 investigators and 8 less actives to church! We also had 2 Baptisms of Carmin and her son Fernando. It was so awesome to see that happen.
One of our investigators is Henry, from Wisconsin. I don't got any idea he why lives here, but he met a lady like three years back on a road trip because he's a trucker and so he got with her and now lives with her. Its kinda funny because he doesn't speak Spanish and she doesn't really speak English. Not really sure how that works out but we brought them to church! We will be baptizing the kids of his girlfriend! I really want to baptize him because i think it would be cool to baptize an american but they ain't married so it might take a while.
This whole week we've been helping our landlord roof his house! I've got quite a bit of blisters but its just amazing how someones heart can soften by doing service for them. Reminds me of the Ammon and King Lamoni's story in the BOM. The missionaries a couple months back taught the family but they didn't accept the message or have any interest in going to church but we invited them and the wife said, "yeah I think its time to go and meet your church." They couldn't go yesterday but they say they are going to go next week! Its a family of 6!
We are also teaching a man named Beni and his two kids. We left sacrament meeting after the sacrament to go and get him. When we got there, they were ready to go! they enjoyed the church a lot. We are preparing them for baptism next week!
