It was another good week in the ccm! if this was heritage tours, i would
be coming home today. its been three weeks already! I think about
heritage tours so much and all the church sights i got to see! Mom
thanks for sending me on it! I wanna go again as a chaperon! I wish i
would have wrote in my journal everyday on it! I guess i learned from
that because i havn't missed a single night yet! ok dad, feliz
cumpliaños!! 50 holy crap! your half way dead!! this week was great! the
highlight was on Sunday again(the highlight is always on sunday) in the
devotional we watched a talk elder bednar gave to missionaries at the
mtc on Christmas day! If its ok, i would like to plan family night for
Monday, mom please find this talk by elder bednar, its about the natural
man, and show it to the family! last week I asked for you to pray that I
could stay awake during devotionals and at first... that prayer was NOT
answered... but as I was sleeping (like within the first 10 min of the
talk) I twitched which woke me up and I was wide awake the rest of the
devotional and it ended up being EXACTLY what I needed to here!
definitely in my top three all time talks! so much good was said in it!
please watch it! its only like an hour and 10 minutes so not too long! I
remember driving home from the hunt with grandpa and he told me that
elder Bednar would have a specific question and read through the whole
BOM with that question and mark everything about it. He had a library
filled with BOMs because he did that alot! He told us that in this talk!
he said that "if you do this, you should have read the BOM over 500
times by the time your my age" that is awesome!! Also this week me and
elder farabee made a bet to see who can memorize the most phrases by
sunday and the loser has to go up and ask a hermana for her email! at
first i was like this is kind of a win-win for me but that would
probably go against mission rules so i gotta win!
I really miss
watching ephraims rescue!! we watch a movie every sunday night but it
has to be church made so we wont ever watch that one... I heard 17
miracles is a good one! i wish i would have watched that one!
well i hope everyone is having a great time! only two and a half more weeks and ill be in reynosa!! so excited
