Oct 5, 2015 "my words are simple, keep the commandments" Man I love conference! its the greatest.

Dear Family,

Wow what an awesome week! I cannot explain the many great and spiritual experiences that i have had this past week. Me and my Companion Elder Webb are killin it! We are working so good together and i feel the spirit all day. Its so good to have a companion that shares your same desire to work hard and to do whats right all the time. And wow wasn't general conference just awesome? Yes we were able to watch it and in English!! so good to hear English but I'm a Little worried about profeta monson. He did not look good but I loved the first words that came out of his mouth in the priesthood sesión, "my words are simple, keep the commandments" Man I love conference! its the greatest.

Couple quick stories

We contacted a house but not at the door because there was a fence in front so we yelled for someone to come out and a really fat man came out without is shirt on. We asked if we could come in to share a message about Jesús Christ and he said, "No! we believe in the same Jesus!" "OK brother well were gonna share with how you can come unto him" and then he thought something was a Little suspicious so he asked, "do you got a knife or something" haha me and my companion looked at each other and laughed and then said, "brother do we look like would have a knife?" anyways he didn't trust us so we were about to just leave until we offered him a card with a picture of the salt lake templo. He came out and grabbed it from us and looked down at it and at that moment we could tell that he had been hit by the spirit like a car and says, "oh my that is beautiful. Where is this?" We explained where it was and how there was another one in Monterrey. we told him that we want to help him get prepared to make promises with god there. also that he had the opportunity to listen to a prophet of god. We promised him that if he came with a question to the conference, it would be answered and he agreed to come. at the end we asked him to be baptized and he said yes. then we asked if he would prepared for the 17th and he said, "well if what your telling me is true, if i come and find an answer, I ain't gonna be here." "brother, where you gonna be?" "Ill be in the united states" haha is question was how he was gonna get back over there! He was really a funny guy, he told us he'd been married four times and as we were walking away he told us, "don't get married your gonna get bored!!" haha

We found a really awesome funny lady that accepted to be baptized this week and yesterday when we called to remind her to come to conference she says, "you better not make me pray or talk or whatever, if i get scared I ain't ever coming back! and don't try baptizing me while I'm there" haha she was worried she was gonna have to get up and talk or say a prayer. but she came and brought her daughter! We also had the family mancillas come!

I really liked the talk about the boy who was out digging holes with his friends and built a swimming pool and got all muddy and he wanted to come in the house because he was all cold and wet and his grandma came out and said, "i have just cleaned the house and you are not coming in all muddy and wet" he had to get hosed down to finally be able to come in. the same is for us to be able to enter into the kingdom of our father in heaven. we are going to have to be hosed down of all sin. because no unclean thing can enter in just like no muddy wet boy can enter the just-cleaned house.

I love and miss you all! have a good week!
