I
need chad to fly down here and operate on my in grown toe nail!! its
getting kinda nasty! always gotta have problems with my feet.. but no I'm
going to a doctor and hes gonna fix it so don't worry!
So
Jorge and Joana never showed up to the place to make a date to get
married, and we called and called and never answered.. so this week on Friday
we went to their hot dog stand and it turned out that he had found a
job working many hours in the day but didn't like it so quit. for that,
they never showed up. but we got talking and he was pretty much like,
"yeah we've been talking and we've decided that were not going to get
married but you guys are welcome to keep coming by" and so I asked why
they didn't want to get married and she was like "well I do but he
doesn't" and then he was like "no I do but there just isn't any money and
we have plans to go the other side" and then they started arguing and I
was just like, oh my gosh you gotta be kidding me! but started to feel
the spirit really strong and pretty much told them that god has a plan
for them, and as long as were obeying his commandments, we are heading
in the right path. doesn't matter what happens, as long as were obeying
the commandments, were on the path that he has for us! and we asked "do
you believe that god has all power?" and they said of course. and so we
asked "well if you believe god has all power, surely he can provide a
better job for you to earn more money." and they said "yeah" and then
we said "well he can only bless us as long as we keep his commandments
and for you to keep the commandments, you guys have to get married! and
for right now we just need to make a date and trust in the lord that he
will provide a way with the money" and so they had a change of heart and
we've decided that were going to the place on Tuesday
to fijar a date for them to get married! and then me and my companion
are putting our own money together and were gonna pay it and so its
gonna be super awesome!! and along with that, I shared with them that I
wanted to be in the mission a lot earlier, but that I had to wait all the
way until the end of October, but if I would have left any earlier,
everything would have been different and that I probably wouldn't be here
in Matomoros and that we wouldn't have met. But god has a plan for me
and for that I'm here right now!
