Week 15 - NONNEGOTIABLE PRIORITY"S

Well it was another long week, haha and not too much happened here... on Wednesday it was poring rain and we were just getting absolutely soaked and then we got a call that we need to return to our homes just because, so we obeyed and went back and I got a lot more studying in of Spanish and scriptures and other books! it was pretty great! I learned alot from studying this week! oh and its just me and my companion in our house now! the other missionaries went to a different house so there is alot more space and its alot cleaner now!! So it was just me and Elder Arjona. The next day, Thursday, we got the call that we couldn´t leave at all!! So I got even more studying in and got to know Elder Arjona a little bit better... haha lucky we had Ephraim's rescue so we watched that too!! it was just a long day because we weren´t out working! the next day we were giving permission to only leave to go eat with the members for lunch and then we had to return home again! and so yes another very long day and thinking about home.. it was tough and then the next day we were giving permission to go out and work again!!!!! yay!! as we were working, we could here what I think were fire works going off, and then a litte bit after that we got the call that we needed to return to our homes again... you gotta be kidding me haha so ya.. got a little tiny bit home sick this passed week! but don't worry about me!! I doing totally fine!! as long as they keep feeding me here, I'm great!! When me and my companion watched Ephraim's Rescue this week, a part that really hit me was the quote from president Monson at the very end!!! I cant remember it but wow it was awesome!!! I love that movie so much! I'm never gonna get sick of watching it!! I ALWAYS want to be worthy of my priesthood duties!! OK and also I read many talks this week from the passed general conference and one that I liked really much was by elder Scott. He said, "Despite all the negative challenges we have in life, we must take time to actively exercise our faith. Such Exercise invites the positive, faith-filled power of the atonement of Jesus Christ into our lives. We must use the tools god has given us; Prayer, Scripture study, family home-evening and temple attendance. Don't yield to Satan's temptations that you don't have to do these things! they should be NONNEGOTIABLE priority's in our lives" I love those words!! I know by doing these things, we can experience more happiness in our lives and when we do them as a family, they can strengthen our unity and our relationships! Awww i miss the temple so much!! haha i cant wait to be able to go again someday with you guys!! It sounds like we are doing a good job of these things as Miriah has informed me how hard it is to wake up at 6 every morning for family scripture study and prayer!! haha make it a nonnegotiable priority to do that every day! and have a steady temple attendance schedule with family home evening every Monday!!
Love and miss you all very much
